Currently our team is made up of 8 professionals who are in continuous training to offer our patients the best alternatives to solve their conflicts, problems or difficulties.

Gemma Rodríguez Márquez

Director and Psychologist
Graduated in Psychology from the University of Malaga. I obtained the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology from the UDIMA. I have specific training in early care, special educational needs, developmental disorders, behavioral disorders, childhood anxiety and grief, emotional management, dyslexia and literacy disorders, BRMT and ASD. In this last developmental disorder, I also have experience as shadow teachers for 6 years, both in ordinary classrooms and in specific classrooms. I currently have almost 10 years of professional experience in intervention in the clinical setting and 6 years in the management and direction of the team. My functions at the Raíces Multidisciplinary Center are based on the management of the center, organization of team meetings, interviews with families and management of the referral to the professional who can best address the case due to their training, management of NEAE scholarships and aid and My favorite part is the intervention in the child and adolescent population.

Carmen González Martín

Psychologist
Graduated in Psychology from the University of Granada, and obtained a Master's Degree in General Health Psychology from the European University of Madrid. I also have a Master's degree in Clinical Child and Youth Psychology from ISEP Barcelona. Integrative therapy model based on trauma and attachment, thanks to my extensive training in currents such as EMDR and IFS. I also have training in other processing techniques such as sandbox, Playmobil therapy and play therapy based on family bonding. On the other hand, my concern for continuous learning has led me to expand my knowledge of grief, emotional symptoms and disruptive behaviors. At Raíces Multidisciplinary Center I am in charge of family, child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy. Likewise, I developed a Parent School program and study techniques workshops.

Marina Ruiz Rios

Psychologist
Graduated in Psychology from the UMA with a major in clinical studies. Master of General Health Psychology from UDIMA. Specialization Course in Clinical Psychology of the Psychological Care Service of the UMA Later I did the Master's Degree in Basic Fundamentals and Theory of Psychological Intervention at the Camilo José Cela University. I also have the Master's Degree in Psychological Intervention and Mental Health at UDIMA and the Expert in DSM 5 and ICD 11 Update from the same university. Later I wanted to specialize and trained in Couples and Sexuality Therapy with the master's degree from the Couples Institute of Murcia. My functions at the Raíces Multidisciplinary Center are to address the intervention of both adolescents and adults. I also take care of cases related to specific training in sexual and couples therapy (sexual dysfunctions, infidelity, emotional dependence, counseling, breakups, etc.)

Silvia Cortés Jiménez

Psychologist
Graduated in Psychology from the University of Malaga. I obtained the master's degree in General Health Psychology at the University of Seville and the master's degree in Couples Therapy and Sexology at ISEP. My training includes specialization in children's projective techniques and treatment of behavioral problems in childhood and adolescence. At Centro Raíces my duties include intervention with children, adolescents and adults, as well as family meetings to provide guidance in parenting in the face of difficulties. Additionally, I perform family mediation to resolve conflicts and promote effective communication between members.

Alba Molina García

Speech therapist
Graduated in speech therapy from the UMA. I obtained the master's degree in Speech Therapy Neurorehabilitation from TECH Technological University. I am an expert in Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Learning Disorders from the University of Nebrija. In addition, I have specific training in Early Care, Language Disorders, vocal pathologies (treatment with LAX-VOX) and oropharyngeal dysphagia. At Centro Raíces my functions are to accompany, guide and help those patients who present difficulties in: understanding and/or production of language, social communication, acquisition of reading-writing processes, orofacial motor skills and breathing/phonation. All this through conscious and structured work where people are participants in their treatments.

Ana Belén Díaz Morales

Occupational therapist
Graduated in Occupational Therapy from the UMA. Research Master in Motor Neurocontrol from the URJC. Expert in Neurodevelopmental and Learning Disorders. I am certified in sensory integration by CLASI (international certification) and in the "SOS: approach to feeding" method to treat feeding difficulties along with extensive experience in this field. I also have training in the new method of writing without tears (Handwriting Without Tears). At Centro Raíces I intervene on the problems of participation in the activities of daily life: clothing, grooming, food, school performance, leisure and free time. As well as problems with toileting (incontinence and toilet refusal).

Belén Rodríguez Márquez


In charge of Primitive Reflexes and Teacher
Graduated in Early Childhood Education from the UMA. Complete the master's degree in Special Educational Needs and Early Care from the VIU. In charge of working on Primitive Reflexes (BRMT), after receiving training at Levels 1, 2 and 3. I have specific training in Attention to diversity, autism and family-centered practices. In addition, I have training in emotional education and multiple intelligences applied to mindfulness at the Antonio de Nebrija University. At Centro Raíces my functions are the evaluation and integration of primitive reflexes. In addition, I perform rhythmic movement therapy that promotes the sensory and perceptual processing of patients. I evaluate eye movements, tracking movements and saccadic eye movements, in relation to reading-writing difficulties.

Celia Ramos Roberto

Physiotherapist
I obtained a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Malaga. I have a master's degree in Neurology Physiotherapy from the University of Cádiz. I also have specific training in respiratory physiotherapy in pediatrics, Bobath method, pilates and hypopressives, pelvic floor physiotherapy, pregnancy and breastfeeding. My experience is mainly based on both children and adult patients, babies with respiratory problems, patients with neurological damage, pregnant women and patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.
